** AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE KONGSBERG VAPENFABRIK 6.5x55mm KRAG 'KRAG JORGENSEN M1930 SNIPER' BOLT-MAGAZINE SNIPER RIFLE, serial no. 392,
dated 1938, 29 1/2in. nitro reproved (in 2022) heavy barrel, Parker Hale FS22 fore-sight, receiver fitted with adjustable peep rear-sight numbered 86068, receiver ring marked '1938' and 'M/30' and with the Kongsberg arsenal marking, internal rotary box magazine with downward pivoting loading gate and inspection trap, manual flag safety, manual cocking knob, three-quarter length stock with chequered pistolgrip, the left side with ornate silver metal plaque signed 'E.W. INGEBRIGTSEN.', sling eyes, 13 1/2in. pull including steel buttplate, weight 11lb. 6oz.
Other Notes: The M1930 sniper rifle was another improvement of the M1923 and M1925, featuring a heavier barrel, a different stock, sights, and a fine tuned trigger. It was a successful weapon, but no more than 466 were built between 1930 and 1939.
